Micromesh Minerals is part of the very well reputed Bajaj Group, which has diversified business interests. Headed by Mr. Chander Bajaj, 59, the Group began off with business of petroleum products in 1971 after his higher education in the United States. He then diversified into the hotel industry. He is ably supported by his two sons in his business. The elder son, Mr. Vijay Bajaj, 37, is an engineer with qualifications in Marketing Management from USA. The younger son, Sudesh Bajaj, 35 a Computer Engineer, who completed his M.S. from USA, has also been involved in manufacturing, processing and international trading of various minerals, metals and chemicals, including supplies to countries in South East Asia and Europe.

The group today is well diversified and has business interests in petroleum, lubricants, transportation, hotels, IT products and education apart from minerals.
